Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Gonda was started in 1994 in community Hall of Railway Colony. Later in 2004 it was shifted to a permanent building of its own road no. 13.The first batch of the all india Secondary School Examination was sent in 2000. Vidyalaya was upgraded to +2 level in 2004 & stared the science Stream in Class XI that year.The 1st batch of All india Sr. School Ceritificate Examination appeared in 2005. Due to its widespread popularity in a short span of time,new section came up with growing demand from central goverment employees including defense personnel for the admission of their children.One new section in classes 1 and 6 each was stared in the year 1914. The School is selected under the category of PM SHRI School in 2023 and also started Bal Vatika 3  the same year.At present the schhol has 1 section from Bal vatika 3 to class XII of science streams with the assistance of highly qualified and effective faculty, the vidyalaya uphods a high standard of academic performance.It also offer chances for game,sports,scout & guide and co-curricular activities(CCA)to facilitate the holistic developemtn of its students
